Inside A Student Nurses Makeup Bag

Hey,

As a makeup lover, my makeup bag is one of my favourite things but, the student nurse I am (breaks are for food. Priorities and all that…), this makeup bag needs to contain makeup that is going to stay put as I just do not ever reapply. So I thought I’d show you what works for me on a daily basis.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primers – Here I have the Photo Finish Foundation, Lid and Under eye primers. I came across them in a miniature box set in Boots and thought I’d give them a whirl. I've been using these for about a month and very impressed. Available here for £14

Revlon Colorstay – I currently have this in the combination/oily skin formula in the shade Buff. This foundation is my all-time drugstore favourite, the stay power is amazing. Available here for £12.49

Collections Cover Up Stick – Now this must be the oldest product here, and is definitely in need of a replacement.  I'm not the biggest fan of the thick texture but it does the job. Available here for £1.99

Sleek Candy Collection Blush Palette – This was part of Sleek summer ‘limited edition’ collection. I love this palette as its super pigmented which means it will last a long time and plus the shades (Candy Floss, Dolly Mix and Cupcake) are all very different so suit any occasion. This is still available here for £10

Seventeen Miracle Matte – This is one of my favourite products here as my skin is very oily and this beauty lasts all day on me!! Available here for £3.99

MUA Undressed Palette – At £4 I have well and truly got my money’s worth. With the help from the Smashbox Lid Primer this lasts time I take it off at bedtime. Available here

Collection Work the Colour Eyeshadow Pencil ‘Hot Chocolate’ – This is great for quick application with the help of a blending brush. I will definitely be adding more of these to my collection. Available here on offer for only £2.50

L’Oreal Volume Million Lashes ‘Waterproof’ – This is my all-time favourite mascara! Normally I'm prone to black eyes at the end of the day if I use non-waterproof mascara and it’s very hard to find a good one which doesn't take forever to get off. This comes off like any other and doesn't cause black eyes, PERFECT!! Available here  for £10.99

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains – I have two of these in the shades darling Chérie and Rendezvous. I love these and will be getting more shade but for me who has dry lips they don’t always go on smoothly but will the help of a lip balm they are great and are my everyday colours. Available here for £7.99

Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick ‘Rose Bud’ – This is my nude colour! I use this when I want to look completely natural, when wearing just a bb cream of some kind and for a very low budge brand this is fab. Unfortunately I cant find this product online.
